When CCEnhancer’s definitions are updated, the previous definition file is completely removed. This can be annoying if you have created your own winapp2.ini entries that are specific to your PC. CCEnhancer’s custom.ini feature allows you to use your own cleaning routines in addition to ours, without requiring you to edit the file after each update. It works by automatically merging your custom rules with the CCEnhancer definitions each time you update.
Creating custom.ini
The custom.ini file can be created using any plain text editing program. We recommend using Windows Notepad or SingularLabs’ MetroTextual. This file can contain an unlimited* number of additional entries.

Using custom.ini
CCEnhancer will automatically detect and use the custom.ini file if it’s placed in the same directory as CCEnhancer.exe.
